What’s the Difference between Staffordshire Bull Terrier Pit Bull. While the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is an AKC recognized breed, with a detailed breed standard. The Pit Bull isn’t  technically a breed  unto itself or recognized with a breed standard with a kennel club registry.
